Meet Candy Lounge-a-lot. If I didn't already have a female dog at home, she'd be living with me unconditionally.

Does not pull on leash (yup you read that right..a bully who doesn't pull your arm out to be in front) and, and, and...wait for it....outs all toys immediately in a game of fetch! That alone would win her a spot in my home, however the bigger thing is that she has a BIG heart.

She came in with two other Bullmastiffs (who were seriously messed up dogs) and she is the nicest, most socialized dog...and the LAST one to be adopted. Sad Seriously, people beat down the door to get these "scared of the world" Bullmastiffs, and not a soul looks at Candy? That is messed up!!

This is a bully I'd put around wee, wee kids no problemo. Shelagh has met her, ala hat and sunglasses, and Candy likes all people all the time. She loves to play, lounge, squeeze into your lap...all good things in a bully.

Nobody ever looks at her. Sad Maybe it's her scars on her face that scare people off (the other intact female and her in the home used to get into it). She loves the boy dogs and has mastered "leave it" around the bitchy females.

I LOVE Heart HER!

I met Candy - she's awesome! I met her just after her spay and tooth extraction, while she was still on her pain meds, and she put up with all kinds of crap from me - touching her all over, leaning over her, etc (what can I say - I meet a dog, it's instant mini assessment!).

She lit up like a Christmas tree when she met Carmac! He was a little stressed (as I was a volunteer when he and I met, so we have a lengthy reinforcement history of me returning him to the shelter) and he told her off a couple of times, and she was completely responsive to it.

She seemed to roll with everything going on at the shelter, and she is beautiful in colour. She also stacked quite nicely - a little supermodel in the making.

I am looking forward to seeing her again.

We went down to VAS and met her, she's sooooo lovely! She loved us talking to her and touching her. I don't think the scars on her face make her scary at all, but that's just me.

OMG She is LOVELY!

Where is she? is she a HugABull dog?

She sounds like she fits what we are looking for very well! I have 2 kids 4 yrs and 1.5 yrs.

Any Idea how she is in a house?
Could we foster her and do a foster to adopt to find out????

She is at the Vancouver Animal Shelter. If you are interested, you should contact Rumpley the original poster for more information.

A model with big boobs Wink Laughing

Candy and I had a play session last night in her kennel. I bounced this crazy rubber ball off the walls, and she fetched it and launched onto her bed, only to nicely give it up to me to throw again. She put on a big show for the vet student tour I did too which was hysterical! I like her style...she's a way cool dog.

I like this style of dog - very loungey, affectionate, very biddable and playful. Definite on/off switch. I caught her napping in a sunbeam today...so cute Heart

Today, a volunteer walked her right up on me, while I'm handling this intact Shar Pei x Pit (who is mostly friendly) but I'm not in the mood for a potential dog fight Shocked Candy could have cared a less about the whole thing, while I'm blowing somewhat of a huge fit about people being careless when dog handling....yeah, Candy handled it way better than I did! Razz Laughing
